Product Manager

Remote First

Job Type

Fulltime

About the Role

Salary: Competitive

As our Product Manager, you are the architect of the user journey and the pulse of our internal operations. You sit at the vital intersection of business strategy, technology, and human-centric design.

Beyond defining "what" we build, you will own the "how". You will lead our daily rituals, manage our digital workspace in ClickUp, and ensure that every team member has total clarity on their tasks. This is a remote-first role for a highly organised, tech-savvy leader who thrives on turning chaos into streamlined workflows.

This role is remote first but you may be required to come into office on occasion as necessary for events or workshops (will not be frequent).

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product vision for the AIENAI platform and AIENAI Academy. Build realistic roadmaps and detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), setting clear timelines that align with our long-term goals

  • Operational Leadership: Lead daily standups and syncs via Zoom. You are responsible for unblocking the team and ensuring everyone is aligned on the day's priorities

  • Workspace Management (ClickUp): Act as the "Master" of our ClickUp environment. You will architect the folders, lists, and tasks, ensuring that every ticket has clear acceptance criteria and is tracked for performance

  • Design Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with the Design team in Figma and Miro to translate complex requirements into intuitive, elegant UI/UX solutions

  • Documentation & Knowledge: Maintain a pristine "Source of Truth" in Notion, ensuring product specs, meeting notes, and SOPs are up to date and accessible

  • Feedback & Research: Actively collect and analyse user feedback and market trends, turning insights into actionable product improvements

  • Quality Assurance: Organise usability testing and accessibility audits to ensure our products are inclusive, functional, and a pleasure to use

  • Stakeholder & Value Management: Act as the bridge between client desires and technical reality. Manage expectations by communicating the value of what is being built, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned with the product’s strategic "North Star"

The Tech Stack

To be successful, you must be a power user (or highly proficient) in the following:

  • Project Management: ClickUp (Automations, Dashboards, Sprint Planning & Task Tracking)

  • Communication: Slack, Google Suite & Zoom

  • Design & Ideation: Figma, Figjam & Miro

  • Knowledge Base: Notion, Dovetail

Job requirements

Knowledge/Skills Required

  • Proven PM Experience: Strong background in overseeing the full product development lifecycle

  • Outcome over Output: Ability to focus on the impact on the user and business rather than just the number of features shipped

  • Agile Proficiency: Deep experience running standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse complex data to identify market trends and user behaviour

  • Strategic Prioritisation: Proficiency in using frameworks to prioritise features that align with the core product vision

  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with web/app development and the ability to bridge the gap between design and engineering

  • Multi-Product Management: Proven ability to handle multiple products or workstreams without compromising on quality

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Project Management, Business, or a related field

How you know you’re doing a good job (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Task Clarity: High task completion rate with minimal "stalled" tasks in ClickUp due to missing requirements

  • On-Time Delivery: Consistent achievement of sprint goals and roadmap milestones

  • Team Velocity: A measurable reduction in turnaround time on tasks through better process management and reduced error rates

  • Product Quality: Achieving high user satisfaction ratings and low post-release error rates

  • Value Realisation: Success in delivering features that solve identified user problems and meet business goals

  • Cultural Leadership: Demonstrable success in fostering alignment, transparency, and the AIENAI values within daily operations

Behavioural/Cultural Requirements

  • A "Netizen" Native: You are deeply comfortable with digital-first tools and asynchronous communication.

  • The Facilitator: You are patient in teaching others how to use tools and have a habit of building consensus during meetings.

  • High EQ: You manage sensitive situations diplomatically and communicate in a clear, transparent, and lighthearted manner.

  • Process-Oriented: You find joy in a well-organised dashboard and a cleared notification centre.

  • Empathetic: You have a genuine desire to understand and address the usability issues faced by clients, end-users and team members.

COMPANY VALUES

  • We're in this together: We foster collaboration and teamwork to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone's contributions are desired, respected, and valued

  • Stepping up and standing out: We rise to the occasion when there's something to be done, and also embrace opportunities to develop ourselves by surmounting challenges

  • Giving more than a damn: We love what we do but more so, who we are as human beings. We are deeply passionate about the projects we work on as much as the people we work with

  • Sensitivity towards the user: Our clients are our 'users', just as their clients are theirs'. We put ourselves in the shoes of both, empathising at all times to deliver "Aha!" solutions

  • Pushing beyond the mark: It’s not enough that we guarantee user satisfaction; we also strive to exceed business goals and surpass client expectations

  • Creating enjoyable experiences: We ensure our process is exhaustive but not exhausting because we realise our clients and users are human beings, not just business entities
