As the Digital & Marketing Manager at AIENAI, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive brand growth, visibility, and engagement across all channels. You will shape how AIENAI and AIENAI Academy are perceived online, ensuring our digital presence aligns with our values, voice, and user-centred approach.


You will take ownership of campaign creation, content development, and stakeholder engagement while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and excellence in every external communication. You will also play a key role in shaping content strategies, optimising user experiences, and supporting the business in achieving its marketing goals.


This role is remote first but you may be required to come into office on occasion as necessary for events or workshops (will not be frequent).




Core Responsibilities


While this role mainly revolves around planning, setting, and implementing social media and communication campaigns (in line with business and marketing strategies), we have grouped the scope of your work into 3 major nodes:


AIENAI  (Parent company)

  • Design, execute, and monitor digital marketing strategies that strengthen AIENAI’s market positioning and attract new business opportunities.

  • Craft clear, concise, and audience-specific content for AIENAI’s website, client projects, and social media platforms.

  • Ensure alignment between marketing content and the overall user experience strategy by collaborating with UX Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, and People & Community Managers.

  • Lead the development of content strategies that reflect AIENAI’s brand voice and resonate with our target audience.

  • Manage the company website, ensuring regular updates, SEO optimisation, and performance monitoring.

  • Continuously edit and proofread marketing content to maintain clarity, quality, and tone consistency.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and emerging digital tools to keep AIENAI at the forefront of marketing innovation.

  • Analyse digital campaign performance, user engagement, and traffic metrics to refine strategies and achieve business goals.


AIENAI Academy (UX Coaching and Mentorship Program)

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive enrollment, engagement, and visibility of AIENAI Academy’s programmes (UXCMP, Teen UX, YouXpress, Student Design Accelerator).

  • Participate in user research activities such as usability testing and A/B testing to refine content and improve user experience based on insights.

  • Develop targeted email campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials showcasing student achievements, alumni success stories, and programme updates.

  • Track engagement and conversion metrics to evaluate campaign performance and continuously improve marketing efforts.

  • Coordinate content and storytelling efforts that highlight the Academy’s impact and strengthen its community presence.



Digital Channels & External Stakeholders

  • Oversee AIENAI’s digital presence across websites, social media platforms, email marketing, and paid ads.

  • Manage external partnerships, PR activities, and media engagements to expand brand reach and maintain accurate representation.

  • Create and maintain a marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns, promotions, and content rollouts.

  • Collaborate with design and copy teams to produce visually compelling and impactful digital assets.

  • Report regularly on digital performance, community sentiment, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Execute additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the Head of Copy or senior leadership.

Knowledge/Skills Required

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Strong digital marketing, content strategy, and copywriting skills

  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels

  • Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing tools

  • Experience managing websites, marketing analytics, and campaign reporting tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.)

  • Ability to interpret data and user feedback to inform content and marketing decisions

  • Familiarity with UX principles and a solid understanding of digital product ecosystems

  • Good stakeholder management and emotional intelligence

  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

  • Knowledge of paid ad campaigns across platforms (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn) is an advantage

  • Proven experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building online forums, creating event series, and writing email newsletters)

  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube for branding is essential

  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)



Education/Experience

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or a similar role (preferably in design, tech, or creative industries)

  • Experience working with product design teams or UX environments is highly desirable
